So, anyone who knows me and the kids, knows that we like to sing every song. Unfortunately, for those within range only Lu has a voice worth listening too. I am still looking for a tune. Hopefully, when I find it, I will be able to carry it although I don't have my hopes up. DP never seems to put his all into it and often the words change in volume as he sings due to lack of complete interest. Lu sings all of the songs as though she is auditioning for America's Got Talent. JR also has promise. He enjoys singing and really tries to get into it on songs he likes. It isn't JR's singing that is funny but the songs he enjoys singing especially considering he is six. See SuperMom never listens to the radio, she only listens to Pandora through her car speakers. With Pandora, some of the stations are not safe for kids. Thus, SuperMom often listens to classic (at least for us) rock and roll stations. He loves Queen and really wants us to rock you. He belts it out every time the chorus hits. "We will we will rock you!" It is funny hearing a six year old sing that. But that is nothing compared to his favorite song, or at least my favorite song to hear him sing. The singer was the devil when I was growing up. The parents thought he was corrupting our youth. Long before he was an incoherent reality star, he was turning out hits and touring the country. So here is JR at a volume everyone in the car can hear, except when he doesn't know the exact line.
ALL ABOARD!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA! (Loud)
Crazy, but that's how it goes (Loud)
Millions of people living as foes (Less Loud)
Maybe. it's not too late (Less Loud)
To learn how to love, and forget how to hate (Less Loud)
Mental wounds not healing (not understandable)
Life's a bitter shame (not understandable)
I'm going off the rails on a crazy train (Super LOUD!)
I'm going off the rails on a crazy train (Super LOUD!)
So you see, like most of use he can't completely understand Ozzy either, but he loves the chorus of that song. As soon as the song starts, he goes "Mom can you turn up the radio?". Then he proceeds to sing the chorus for the next two hours. It is hard to see what devil our parents were talking about when my six year old sings this song and enjoys it so much. Oh well who knows, maybe I'm going off the rails on a crazy train.
