I received a wonderful email from a friend who read the most recent post and decided to add another small one. Many years ago when there was just one participant in this experiment, SuperMom loved to dress Lu up in all sorts of clothes. She would put her in pretty dresses with these great big bows and several other unique outfits. One day Lu was dress in these brown knickers with a long sleeve pink shirt, pink socks, pick shoes, and a big pink bow. I remember this because I still have a picture in my wallet. A prettier little girl has never been seen. Either me or SuperMom was discussing the pants with her, I don't remember who. Since I am writing the blog, I will take the lead and say it was me and relay the message to the best of my memory. Refer to previous post titled "Maybe Physics Dad is Getting Old" to understand this might have some paraphrasing. I asked Lu how do you like those knickers. She looked at me with shock and replied "we don't say that word. That is a bad word." As often happens when dealing with my children, I was a little confused. I finally figured out the misunderstanding and explained the issue with her. However, to this day I refuse to say the word "knickers", because as Lu pointed out, it is a bad word.

I laughed out loud. I do remember when that discussion took place.
